From a collector's estate, an antique Chinese headdress in silver repoussé. The open metal work is very intricate and beautiful ~ figures wielding scythes. This was a ceremonial wedding headdress and may have served as a base of other ornaments affixed to it. This piece has a small spit in the center of the top border. Measures 6.5 inches in length x 1.75 inches wide.
